Cabinet Maker/Installer Career Opportunity

GW Millwork in Bensalem, PA is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cabinet Maker/Installer for our fast-growing Architectural Millwork company! We are a family-owned and operated company with a strong team of dedicated, talented designers, engineers, estimators and project managers who are dedicated to their craft.

We are currently searching for an attentive cabinet maker/installer to join our company. Minimum of two years in a professional setting is required; salary based upon experience. You will be responsible for constructing the cabinets, applying the appropriate finishes and installing them at local job sites. You should always ensure adherence to our stylistic and technical requirements. Ultimately, the cabinet maker will work to improve the company’s workflow and facilitate our growth.

Cabinet Maker/Installer Responsibilities

  • Selecting the appropriate materials, fittings and tools for each job
  • Cutting resources down to size when needed
  • Planning an effective approach to each job to ensure the project is completed on time
  • Gathering the elements of each cabinet and assembling the final product
  • Applying sealant, varnish and paint to cabinets when needed
  • Inspecting each completed item to ensure it has been constructed accurately

Cabinet Maker Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Completion of training program or apprenticeship preferred, but not required
  • 2 years prior experience as Cabinet Maker/Installer, portfolio preferred
  • Ability to visualize spaces to create cabinets
  • Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing workmanship
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
